  3. I tweaked my leg something fierce as I was starting my back squats today and I’m none too pleased. This is lame. And I was all pumped to do my baseline. Ok, that’s my bitch session. Kick some ass today, everyone!

  9. Squats 95×5, 105×3, 115×7. WOD 800m 3:40, 45DUs, 21PUs, 26 box jumps and 22 thrusters. All improvements except the run but I’m 2 days out of a half marathon so I wasn’t expecting much. Did my pullups with that thin pink band that might as well just be a rubber band. I gotta get on the ball and string these pullups together. Getting one a few here and there is frustrating. On a positive note I made it about 2/3 of the way up the rope which I’ve neber done before. Baby steps!

    WOD:

    Thrusters – 11, same
    Overall I felt good about the small improvements.
    CO – 2 rope climbs

  12. You ever see a Prison drama like OZ or Prison Break? Wherein one gentleman refuses another’s sexual advances and in the next scene you see him getting beat down with bars of soap in tube socks. I feel like what I imagine that feels like the day after. Everything hurts.

    Some improvement, couldn’t make the double-unders happen at all today. I had them going in warm-up and felt good but when it came to game time they went down the chute. Legs felt leaden, this definitely knocked the rust off of them.

  13. I’m stuck at 120# backsquats for 9. Actually it was 7 perfect ones and 2 just “GET LOWER CHRIS”

    My baseline old number in () was:

    Pullups Red Band (27) 25
    Box Jumps (28) 34
    Thrusters (14) 26
    I did this during my pt session with Coles, then we dis snatch/power clean ractice outta her bag o’ tricks!!!
    My legs are dead!!!
    I also ra nfor the 1st time in my NB Minimus…it was like running in flip flops!! I’m sure I looked like a dork andI’m not a fan!!!

  14. Very pleased with 2nd baseline, after coming off a strain in the knee.
    (Old)
    800m – 6:40 (7:00)
    Singles – 125 (125)
    Jumping PU – 50 (55)
    Box jump – 24 (FAILED)
    Thrusters 45lb – 10 (10)
    Didn’t hesitate on the box jump this time. Jumped on 2 45′s and 1 10.. forgot to measure
    Knees felt great = Happy Girl!

    Improvement on everything but bj and thr’s. with were only off by one and 3 reps. Didn’t look at my score from last time before starting bc I didn’t want to have to worry about beating what I had done previously.

    Double Unders-19 up from 17
    Pullups-20 up from 14
    Box Jumps-30 up from 23
    Thrusters-14 up from 13, thought I would have a better number, legs didn’t have much left.

    PUs 14 (28) I seriously could not hang on to the bar with my damned sweaty hands. This inability to string pull-ups together resulted in 90 seconds of grumpiness.

    Cashed out with 10 tire flips because that’s what everyone else was doing today!
